Old Fourth Ward/Inman Park Apartment Buildings

The Old Fourth Ward and Inman Park sit immediately east of Downtown, on either side of the Atlanta BeltLine’s Eastside Trail. Ponce City Market, the converted Sears, Roebuck building on Ponce de Leon Avenue, and Krog Street Market are the district’s two commercial anchors, with Historic Fourth Ward Park between them. The Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park runs along Auburn Avenue at the southern end. Inman Park, laid out in 1889, was Atlanta’s first planned suburb and keeps much of its Victorian housing stock.

The 20 buildings listed here hold roughly 5,400 apartments. The oldest dates to 1925 and the median year is 2015, with three completed in 2020 or later — most of the recent construction sits directly on the BeltLine. The median building has six floors and the tallest has 21. All 20 are near MARTA rail: thirteen are closest to Inman Park/Reynoldstown station, five to King Memorial and two to North Avenue, putting most of the neighborhood on the Blue and Green lines.
