Downtown Apartment Buildings

Downtown is Atlanta’s government, convention and sports core. The Georgia State Capitol, city hall and the Fulton County courts sit at its southeastern end, Georgia State University occupies much of its eastern half, and Centennial Olympic Park, the Georgia World Congress Center, Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena fill the west. Centennial Yards, a long-planned redevelopment of the railroad gulch between Five Points and the stadiums, is under construction.

The 15 buildings listed here hold roughly 3,800 apartments, completed between 1976 and 2025. The median year is 2018 and five opened in 2020 or later; only two predate 2000. The median building has six floors and the tallest has 29, a mix of 1970s and 1980s towers and recent mid-rise infill. Downtown is the best-connected neighborhood in this directory: all 15 buildings are near MARTA rail, spread across six different stations, and Five Points — where the Red, Gold, Blue and Green lines all meet — is the system’s central transfer point.
