West Midtown/Upper Westside Apartment Buildings

West Midtown and the Upper Westside lie west of the Downtown Connector and Georgia Tech, along Howell Mill Road, Marietta Street and Chattahoochee Avenue. The area was industrial for most of the twentieth century, and much of its commercial space is converted warehouse and factory floor — Westside Provisions District, the Works and Star Metals among them. Older residential pockets including Home Park, Berkeley Park and Blandtown sit between the corridors.

The 20 buildings listed here hold roughly 6,400 apartments, completed between 1969 and 2025. The median year is 2020 and half of them opened in 2020 or later, making this the fastest-growing submarket in the directory. The median building has six floors and the tallest has 20. Transit access is thinner here than in Midtown proper: 12 of the 20 list a nearest MARTA station: eight Bankhead on the Green line, three Arts Center and one Midtown. The remaining eight have no rail station within reach, and their transit fields are left blank rather than filled with a distant station.
